Kofuku: A Place For Japanese Food Lovers

Kofuku: A Place For Japanese Food Lovers
Kofuku located in Ansal Plaza is one of the best places in the town to enjoy the best Japanese Cuisine.
The freshness of the ingredients coupled with creativity & eye-soothing presentation makes Japanese Cuisine one of the most sought-after cuisines.
This vibrant place with bamboo-themed interiors, traditional paintings offers a totally hep variety of dishes. They also have a proper Traditional Izakaya style seating on the Tatami arrangement for small & big groups of people.
I will suggest you to start your meal with the ‘Creamy Shrimp Tempura’, the perfectly cooked crispy shrimps tossed in a creamy sauce were truly delicious.
Sushi Boat
Vegetarians, you can try their sweet corn crispy tempura, which was also nice.
Later, comes the Sushi Boat, which included, ‘Oh My God Sushi’, ‘Super Crunchy Roll (veg)’, ‘Asparagus Tempura Roll (Veg)’, ‘California Veg’, ‘Shitake Nigiri’, ‘Avocado Nigiri’, ‘Mango Nigiri’, ‘Tuna Nigiri’, ‘Salmon Nigiri’, & ‘Hamachi Nigiri’.
Each piece of sushi, whether the velvet-smooth Salmon Nigiri or the California Veg, will beg you to go back for more.
They have an open kitchen so, the Chef prepares the sushi in front of you, and when you pop the roll in your mouth, it is fresh & flavorful, which will for surely woo you.
‘Oh My God’ is Chef’s signature flaming sushi of salmon, tuna, yellow tail & avocado, then drizzled with Chef’s special sauce. Don’t forget to try this one, the sauce drizzled on the sushi is unique & flavorful.

Grilled Boneless Chicken Teriyaki
In dumplings, try ‘Aromatic Spicy Chicken Dumplings’ and ‘Brocilli & Chestnut Dumplings’
Don’t miss on their ‘Grilled Boneless Chicken Teriyaki’ which is really delicious.
Another signature dish of Chef, ‘Grilled Chilliean Sea Bass’ tossed in green chilli ginger dressing was super amazing, it was just melt-in-mouth.

In main course, they served ‘Balinese Curry’, ‘Fried Rice’ & a Japanese ‘Hot Pot’ which had chicken, veggies with shoyu sauce and spicy sauce sauteed in a gravy. I just loved the ‘Balinese Curry’, super delicious with the lovely aroma & color!

In desserts, tried ‘Japanese Pancake’ served with sweet red bean paste filling called Dorayaki, ‘Mochi Ice cream’ and ‘Matcha Ice Cream’. I loved the soft ‘Pancakes’ and my personal favorite ‘Mochi Ice Cream’.
This place highly recommended for Japanese food lovers and most importantly for the ‘Sushi’ lovers. It was definitely a treat to my palate. Loved every bit!
